Abstract:
Artykuł dotyczy onomastycznej analizy dzieła Jana Długosza. Celem pracy jest pokazanie zróżnicowania opisowych wyrażeń identyfikujących. Wyróżniam dwie główne grupy opisowych wyrażeń identyfikujących: 1. te, które informują o tym, że nosiciel imienia pełnił jakąś funkcję w danej miejscowości lub pochodził z danej miejscowości, 2. te, które informują o tym, że nosiciel pozostawał w jakiejś relacji z inną osobą. Kategorie te mają swoje podtypy, które uwzględniłam w klasyfikacji. Sposób identyfikacji poprzez deskrypcje określone podkreśla status społeczny nazywanej osoby - poprzez podanie pełnionej funkcji w społeczeństwie przez daną osobę bądź też poprzez wskazanie na osobę, z którą dana jednostka jest związana

The article concerns the onomastic analysis of a work by Jan Długosz. Aim of this work is show the descriptive identifying expressions. I distinguish two main groups of descriptive identifying expressions: 1. the ones, which inform that the name bearer performed a certain function in a given locality or came from a given locality, 2. the ones, which inform that the bearer remained in a certain relation with another person. These categories have their subtypes, which I have included in the classification. The identification method through definite descriptions stresses the social status of the named person – through giving the function performed by a given person in the society or through indicating the person, with whom the given individual is related
