Abstract:
Autor analizuje rolę świadomości prawnej w kształtowaniu obywatelskiego społeczeństwa
i demokratycznego państwa prawnego. Przedmiotem badania są właściwości świadomości prawnej
obywateli doby postsowieckiej. Zdaniem autora do cech charakterystycznych dla świadomości prawnej
w warunkach współczesnej Ukrainy, występujących zarówno u przedstawicieli władz publicznych
jak i u członków obywatelskiego społeczeństwa, należy dominacja ideologii paternalizmu, nihilizm
prawny, poczucie deficytu prawnej odpowiedzialności zarówno w świadomości obywateli, jak
i w praktyce politycznej
Description:
The author analyses the role of legal consciousness in the formation of civil society and a democratic
state. The author focuses on peculiarities of legal consciousness characteristic of the post-Soviet
citizens. In his view the ideology of paternalism, legal nihilism and the sense of the deficit of legal
responsibility still prevail both in political practice and in minds of ordinary citizens. The mentioned
phenomena constitute thus the distinctive features of the legal consciousness in modern Ukraine. They
are common both to the representatives of the public authority and to members of the civil society.
