Abstract:
Przedmiotem artykułu jest pojęcie wolności w teorii systemów autopojetycznych, sformułowanej przez niemieckiego
socjologa i pedagoga Niklasa Luhmanna, obecnie jednym z najbardziej interesujących i najbardziej
nośnym naukowo wariancie ogólnej teorii systemów. Luhmann rozumie społeczeństwo nie jako zbiorowisko
ludzi, ale jako operacyjnie zamknięty proces komunikacji. Taka postawa budzi niekiedy kontrowersje, a to
z racji radykalnie funkcjonalno-cybernetycznego charakteru tej teorii i aplikowanych terminów (np. człowiek
jako maszyna nietrywialna). Współcześnie teoria systemów autopojetycznych została rozwinięta i zmodyfikowana
w postaci konkretnych zastosowań dla analiz społecznych w socjologii i pedagogice. W artykule
zostały pokazane niektóre z atrybutów pojęcia wolności w kontekście systemów autopojetycznych: jego funkcji
w zakresie kształcenia, celów edukacyjnych, kodów komunikacyjnych, możliwości nauczania i uczenia się
dla wychowania wolnych indywidualności. Praca składa się z pięciu części: 1. Wprowadzenie; 2. Istnieć to
zawsze znaczy się różnić; 3. Systemowe wychowanie do wolności; 4. Dziecko jako autonomiczne medium
wychowania; 5. Czy androidy śnią o elektrycznych owcach?
Description:
The subject of the article is the notion of freedom in the theory of autopoietic systems, developed by a German
sociologist and pedagogue Niklas Luhmann, at present one of the most interesting and most widely held
variant of the general theory of systems. Luhmann understands the society not as an assembly of people, but
as an operative closed process of communication. Such an attitude sometimes raises controversies because of
its radical functional-cybernetic character of the theory and the terms applied (e.g. a man as a non-trivial
machine). Presently, the theory of autopoietic systems has been developed and modified in the form of specific
applications for social analyses in sociology and pedagogics. The paper shows some of the attributes of the
notion of freedom in context of autopoietic systems: its function in education, educational goals, communication
codes, teaching and learning possibilities to raise free individuals. The paper consists of five parts: 1. Introduction,
