Abstract:

The article presents potential sources of diversity of New York Ciy’sborough of the Bronx. Subsequent points in the article describe the historical substrata of sociotopography of present-day city. Newcomers and immigrants settled in diverse neighborhoods in the city because of its specific features. It will be the essenceof the article’s analysis.

Poszczególne punkty w artykule opisują również historyczną substratę socjotopografii dzisiejszego miasta. Przyjezdni i imigranci osiedlali się w różnych sąsiedztwach w mieście, z uwagi na specyficzne cechy tych miejsc. Fakt ten zostanie poddany analizie.
