Abstract:
W artykule omówiono model nauczania przedmiotów pedagogicznych w liceach pedagogicznych, będących
w 25-leciu Polski Ludowej podstawową formą kształcenia kandydatów na nauczycieli szkół podstawowych.
Przedmioty pedagogiczne stanowiły o specyfice tych zakładów. Spełniały, obok kształcenia w zakresie ogólnokształcącym,
artystyczno-technicznym oraz praktyki pedagogicznej, decydującą rolę w zakresie przygotowania
do zawodu nauczycielskiego. Gruntowna ich znajomość obowiązywała wszystkich absolwentów.
W artykule wykazano, że absolwentów liceów pedagogicznych starano się wyposażyć w gruntowną wiedzę
z zakresu psychologii oraz teorii i historii wychowania, aczkolwiek, szczególnie w odniesieniu do lat
1949-1956, niepozbawioną treści ideologicznych. Zaznaczyć należy, że o ostatecznym kształcie programu
przedmiotów pedagogicznych w drugiej połowie lat pięćdziesiątych i w latach sześćdziesiątych zadecydował
wybitny pedagog, historyk oświaty i szkolnictwa Bohdan Suchodolski. Zastosowany przez niego układ zagadnień
był oryginalny i zasługujący na uznanie.
Description:
The article has presented the model of teaching pedagogical subjects in teacher’s training high schools, which
were the basic forms of education for the candidates for primary school teachers during the 25 years of the
Polish People’s Republic. The pedagogical subjects underlined the strong specification of these schools. Together
with general, artistic and technical education, as well as the teacher’s practice, they played a decisive
role in preparing future teachers to perform their job. The thorough knowledge of these subjects was demanded
from all the graduated.
In the article it was proved that the teacher’s training high school graduates were equipped with a thorough
knowledge of psychology, as well as theory and history of education, although, especially in 1949-1956, this
knowledge was not free from ideological contents. It should be stressed that the final shape of the educational
programme in the second half of the 50’s and in the 60’s was given by the outstanding pedagogue and
historian of education, Bohdan Suchodolski. The syllabus implemented by him was highly original and worth
recognition.
