dc.description.abstract	The hydrotechnical system of the Wielki Brda Canal is one of the two great systems of artificial irrigation in the Tuchola Pinewoods, built by the Prussians. Due to the close proximity of the Brda River, it is now famous trail canoeing. However, deteriorating from year to year the quality of its waters and water scarcity in the summer are a threat to the development of tourism in its environment.	en_US
