W twórczości Tkaczyszyna-Dyckiego szpital to jedno z wielu miejsc podporządkowanych symbolicznej podróży do kresu nocy. Jest ono o tyle ważne, o ile bezpośrednio odnosi się do doświadczenia autobiograficznego – choroby i umierania matki. Szpital staje się miejscem objawienia wiedzy o sobie jako o podmiocie naznaczonym monstrualnością życia, ale szukającym ocalenia w niedoskonałej poetyckiej mowie.

In Eugeniusz Tkaczyszyn-Dycki’s poetry the hospital is one of the many places subordinated to a symbolic journey to the end of the night. It is important as long as it directly refers to the autobiographical experience - a mother’s illness and dying. The hospital becomes a place of revealing knowledge about yourself as a subject marked by the monstrosity of life, still looking for salvation in imperfect poetic speech.
