dc.description.abstract This article describes a case of 27 years old deaf woman Agata, who finished her studies in fine arts school, and also obtained M.A. degree in philosophy at University of Lodz, Poland. During one year she was in Norway as the government fellowship winner, and in Bergen she had the opportunity to learn interesting for her fine arts methodological applications. On the basis the narrative data which were registered by authors, some general findings concerning her way of life and contribution of psychological factors was possible to present in this paper. First of all she was assured by her mother with permanent social and emotional support. This fact played a substantial role for secure attachment in her infancy and childhood period, as well as in the adolescence. ln this case we have confirmed the R M. Crittenden's dynamic-maturational theory concerning attachment relationships change over time. Agata is a person. who uses the intelligible oral language and she can develop her professional and intellectual aspirations. ln her painting it is possible to observe some signs of individuality and independency, and perhaps some expressions of her hidden emotional needs. She has the feeling of self-realization and according to her own estimation the most fruitful for her is to join the painting and philosophy. en_US
