Abstract:
Jednym z poważnych problemów współczesnego społeczeństwa jest uzależnienie od pracy, które wiąże się z wyższym stresem, chorobami fizycznymi i symptomami psychologicznymi, a także problemami w zakresie relacji społecznych. Sformułowano hipotezę, że zła sytuacja socjoekonomiczna może wiązać się z rozwojem kompulsji uczenia się wśród studentów. Analizy regresji liniowej wykonane na wynikach badania 1359 studentów wykazały, że aspekty jakości życia związane z warunkami materialnymi są istotnym moderatorem związku między zaangażowaniem w uczenie się i samoskutecznością w zakresie nauki a kompulsją uczenia się.

Currently, one of the major problems of the society is work addiction, which is related to higher levels of stress, physical illnesses and psychological symptoms, as well as to problems in social relationships. It was hypothesized that negative socioeconomic situation may be associated with the development of compulsion to study among students. The data gathered in the survey among 1359 students were used to perform regression analyses. They demonstrated that aspects of the quality of life related to material situation are a significant moderator of the relationship between both learning involvement and learning self-efficacy and the compulsion to learn.
